„Lucid dream“ is by far one of the biggest drawings I've ever made, it's about 60x80 cm, or a little bigger, and that gave me an opportunity to make it more detailed and complex. It was so much fun playing around with different little objects and shadows and patterns, and being playful is the key! As for media, I used my favorite pencils of different hardness, basically:
The first concept of this work was greatly influenced by the books of awesome Daniel Pinchbeck and Carlos Castaneda that I read lately. There was also a thought of everything being a natural mess, something collapses, something explodes and creates itself out of nothing, which is beautiful when you see it.
